Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
Non-surgical rhinoplasty – often called “liquid rhinoplasty”, “non-surgical nose job” or “liquid nose job” – refers to the quick and easy placement of fillers to improve the shape of the nose. In just a few minutes in the office, the nose can be transformed using minimally invasive injections.
Dermal fillers used in non-surgical rhinoplasty – typically known by certain brand names like Juvederm® or Restylane® - are made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the human body. These fillers are all temporary (as the body naturally breaks it down over time) but they typically last up to 2 years or beyond.
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a perfect solution for treating cosmetic issues that are bothersome from the side profile - like humps, bumps or nasal tip shape/angle. This treatment does not treat breathing issues, and is limited in its ability to treat certain contour irregularities from the front view.
In the rare case that a patient no longer likes the effect of the fillers, at any time they can be dissolved by a quick injection in the office, bringing the nose back to its previous form. This makes non-surgical rhinoplasty an excellent option for patients who want certain cosmetic changes to their nose without the risk or expense of surgery.
