We hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy.
After a temporary closure during the initial COVID-19 surge, we are thrilled to announce that we have re-opened our doors to care.
Obviously the world has changed, and our practice is no different. You'll immediately notice some differences in your experience – from Zoom video consultations, to medical-grade HEPA filters and UV sterilizers, to the highest quality personal protective equipment. You may also find it a bit harder to get an appointment, as we will be reducing our patient volume to eliminate potential overlap in our office.
During the time the office was closed, we all worked diligently consulting with infectious disease experts to ensure our office safety is second-to-none. You may actually find some of these differences to be a welcome change – like touch-less payment systems and digital consent forms – while others may make your visit a little less convenient . But these new policies and procedures all share the common goal of premiere patient, staff and physician safety.
Before your appointment, you will receive simple and clear instructions on what to expect and how to plan for your upcoming visit. And rest assured: we are always here to assist you should you have any questions about these new requirements or concerns about your safety. Just reach out.
As you know, this pandemic is a fluid one and that it continues to evolve. In trying to balance patient convenience with safety, we will continue to monitor the situation – including government restrictions and recommendations – and may make changes to appointment availability based on new developments.
For those of you with appointments, we are doing everything in our power to provide you with predictability. Should your particular appointment need to be changed or moved, please understand that the decision was made in an abundance of caution, in response to a public health development or consideration. And we will work with you to make these changes as convenient as possible.
Dr. Cabin is still performing all new consultations via private, encrypted video. This serves to minimizes face-to-face time by performing the bulk of the consultation virtually before coming into the office. Contact us to book a virtual consultation.
Our practice is centered around, and built upon, the experience of our patients. Although we've communicated with many of you, we miss seeing you around the CENTER. We feel lucky that you continue to trust Dr. Cabin with your care, and we are thrilled to once again welcome you to our office!
